When Will He Call Me?

July 14th, 2012

I feel that we are all on a journey of spiritual growth and personal development, and for that reason, not every psychic is going to be right for every person. I would call myself a ‘bigger picture’ psychic. If we imagine that we are on a road called ‘growth’, at the beginning of that road we ask questions about what lies on the surface. If the reading is relevant to a relationship, we may ask if and when someone will call, if and when they will come back to us. When I am asked these questions the first thing I do is encourage the client to focus less on if someone will come back, and more on why they left. This requires moving a little further down that road, letting go of ‘today’ and examining if you are on the right path to get to your desired destination.

You may ask ‘when will he call?’ and the psychic may say ‘next Tuesday’ and may well be spot on, but that doesn’t solve the issue of why there was a period of silence and why he stopped calling in the first place. So next Tuesday he calls, all is well for a few weeks and then guess what? He backs off AGAIN. You then find yourself calling the psychic again and asking when hes going to call. All the while you are being hurt and emotionally drained and not moving along that path. You get stuck on a hamster wheel you saw on the side of the road!,

Very often people look for a reading to tell them that all will be well and become angry with the psychic if that’s not what they hear, they are resistant to growth and want to remain exactly as they are and have someone still tell them that all will be will and they will get their happy ever after.

Psychics don’t CREATE the future, so don’t get mad if they are not telling you what you wanted to hear! Take it as a opportunity to look at YOUR actions. A good psychic wont just give you bad news, they will tell you how you can change the patterns and cycles that have trapped you and show you that when YOU change the music the whole dance changes! Isnt that FAR more helpful than telling you that someone will call next week? Better to have to the potential to change the direction of the whole journey and not just what happens now.

Always be aware that the most powerful person in your life is YOU. You set the rules and create the boundaries by which others can interact with you. If you are being abused and you are an adult, then the opportunity for growth lies with YOU. When we are afraid of losing someone we care about we stay in often terrible situations. We get readings, and hope that the other person will change, and we want to know WHEN. The sad fact is that as long as you remain with them and ALLOW them to mistreat you then you are GIVING THEM PERMISSION TO DO SO. What incentive do they have to grow and overcome their issues? They can behave as they do and still have you. Not only are you stuck on your own path but you are allowing them to remain stuck on theirs. When you think about it, that isn’t love, its DEPENDENCY.

Now if all of this resonates with you, let me take you to the next level. Lets say you have read this, and understand what you need to do and how your actions have contributed to where you find yourself. That’s wonderful! But the test is this – are you going to do this work because you love yourself, want to put yourself first, and want to change the pattern of all your relationships from now on – OR – are you going to say ‘Wow, Raven that made so much sense to me I am so glad I spoke to you, now tell me, if I do all this, WHEN WILL HE CALL ME? ( Raven bangs head against wall!).

If you remember only one thing you read here, make it this. LOVE YOURSELF FIRST. When you grow, you do it for YOU, not to influence someone elses free will. God doesn’t do ‘deals’ It isnt a case of saying ‘Ok God, Ill do what I need to do to learn this lesson as long as I can have this person at the end of it. NO DEAL.

When you stop enabling someone to treat you as they do, then they are triggered to grow, they can no longer interact with you as things were because YOU are no longer the same person. Your growth becomes the catalyst for theirs, but they always have free will, can avoid growth ( as you once did!) and may not appreciate your new approach. THIS IS NO REASON FOR YOU TO STAY AS YOU ARE!

When are you at your best? It’s probably not when we’ve had 3 hours of sleep, missed a meal, navigated a sea of traffic, grinned and bared it through another lengthy meeting, and managed to soothe a trio of tired children who are screaming for attention. Most of us are at our best when we are well rested, well fed, and have come down from stresses of daily living. Of course, we’re well aware that in the modern world, that feat is easier said than done. Read more…

Tarot takes the guesswork out of relationships~

The Tarot cards tell a wonderful and fascinating story through their symbols, numbers, colors and the intuition and experience of the reader. The Cards will show your journey through life by the interpretation and the language of what is called symbolism.

The Tarot deck is like a book of story pictures that tell a story by the way they are interpreted, and this interpretation is done by the reader. A fascinating story can be told by reading the cards, either in a formal spread or in a more informal manner such as just drawing a card and interpreting its meaning.

The Tarot goes hand and hand with all aspects of life, but maybe none more than when it comes to relationships. Relationship questions are probably the most asked questions of the Tarot than any other. Whether it is a inquiry about what that hopeful significant other may be thinking about you, or something as ordinary as what are a certain associate’s motives are, the Tarot can give valuable insight into these matters and many others as well.

Whether it is a love story or a tale of mistakes and misdeeds that can hopefully be avoided with the guidance of the cards, the Tarot can tell you the things you want to know about your relationships, not only with that special person, but also about what your friends and family may have intended for you. With the information that the cards give you can choose which path seems the best for your current situation.

Remember also that the deck may also tell you something that you may not want to hear, but you may need to know these things for your own safety or so that you may make an informed choice so that you can learn and grow as a human being. An experienced and ethical reader will tell you the good and the bad so that you may have a complete understanding of your unique situation. In this way you can make an informed decision about your relationships without worrying about “what if’s?” and “what might be?”.

The cards are a valuable ally in the game of life. Do not be fooled again by someone that has less than honorable intentions for you. The Cards will give valuable insights in matters of the heart, not only into what someone else is planning, thinking or feeling, but also about what the outcome of a particular decision will be. Look at all aspects of a relationship, not just what the other person has in mind but also what will be the outcome of dating this person, or that other person you are interested in. in this way you can make a better choice in your relationships.

“WHY MANY BELIEVE THE TAROT WAS INSPIRED FROM KABALLAH” By D.J. Ownbey

by DJ Ownbey

There are many parallels that the tarot has with Kaballah. There are twenty-two letters in the Hebrew Alphabet (including the Fool) there are twenty-two Major Arcana Cards. There are 10 Sephirah there are 10 non court cards in the Tarots Minor Arcana Suits (Ace through 10). The four court cards can be linked to the secret name of God YHVH (pronounced yud-hey-vahv -hey) or some say “Yahweh” also known as the Tetragrammaton-and referred to by most Jews as Adonai (my lord), as this is the most Holy of God’s Names. In the Kaballah there are also four worlds this can be linked to the four suits in the Minor Arcana. In addition, there are twenty -two Major Arcana and twenty two paths to work in the Kaballah.
Although there is no direct evidence to confirm that the tarot was inspired by the Kaballah , as a life long student of both the Tarot and Kaballah—I feel there are to many parallels to be coincidental.
I am not alone in my belief that the Tarot was inspired by kaballah. Alfonse Louis Constant (later changed his name to Eliphas Levi to reflect the Hebrew Translation of his French given name), believed that the kaballah could not be understood without the Tarot and the Tarot could not be understood without Kaballah.
Eliphas Levi (born in France in 1875) wrote several books one was called, ” Dogme et Rituel de la Haute Magie” this book was later translated into English by Athur Edward Waite (the intellectual creator of the most popular Tarot Deck in use today–the Rider-Watie Deck).
Elphas levi’s ideas were perhaps ahead of his time and landed him two prison sentences for a book he wrote (Le Testament de la Liberté –“The Testament of Liberty”).
Eliphas Levi’s ideas led to the formation of the infamous “Golden Dawn.” This was an occult group (occult meaning “the hidden” and it is the study of spirituality as opposed to religion) that studied the metaphysical ideas of Kaballah and Egyptian Esoteric Ideas.
Although ,we know allot of the ideas of the Golden Dawn were misguided (as the all the keys to understanding the Kaballah were not published until 1995, we are left with some very interesting metaphysical wisdom from the Golden Dawn and a beautiful “Golden Dawn Tarot Deck” filled with symbolism and esoteric symbolism.
So the Tarot’s documentable history is very little, and I feel that looking at this with spiritual eyes there is a lesson in all this. The Tarot teaches us to see with “new eyes.” These are the eyes that come from inside ones soul. Things that we learn on the outer are simply information (in form). To reach spiritual mastery we have to know these things from the inside out. We have to learn to live from the inside out.
We come to a place when we recognize that are “beliefs” mean nothing and all that matters is our “knowing.” Knowing can not come from study or be objectified into words for it is of the spirit.
